how to use expression value wdg to get non-current project data?

I am in project_A, and need to get project_B's data?

You can usually scope a search_type by it's project using the following notation:

vfx/shot?project=my_project

This will work in expressions:

@SOBJECT(vfx/shot?project=my_project)

I believe this will work on an Expression Value as well.
